My day would not be complete without spending time with animals. A Wilmington native, I have always loved animals and by joining the Atlantic Animal Hospital team, i was able to turn my passion into a career. My work is not a job because when I am on the puppy play yard with the dogs, I feel at home. I share my home with Lady, Dutchess and Sarge (Golden Retriever, Pomeranian and Dachshund mix- respectively) and a not-so-cuddly hedgehog named Rocket. I plan to continue my work with animals while pursuing my masters degree.
Hannah, Kennel Technician
I was born in Baltimore, MD and then, with my Dad working in the Army, we moved here to Wilmington. After bringing my 8 dogs and 4 cats here personally and knowing that they were well taken care of I was very pleased to have the opportunity to work here and working with so many animal lovers. I have always had a love for animals and experience great joy in knowing that they trust me to take care of them and to give them love and attention while they are here boarding with us. Before working for Atlantic I got my experience from pet sitting in many different settings. My goal is to take everything I have learned and advance in the animal care field.
Kaitlin, Kennel Technician
Raised in Lake Norman, NC, I moved to Wilmington in 2018 to be close to family. I have 3 years of experience in Pit-bull and Rottweiler rescue as well as kennel attending which makes this job right for me. I love all the joy that pets bring to my life because of their personalities and all the silly things you see them do. I do not have any pets currently but I do like to steal my brother's Golden Retriever, Rosie, and spend time with her. My long term plan is to get my Vet Tech Certification so I can continue work in the animal hospital field.
